About the Constituency Meeting
2012 Special Constituency Meeting
On Sunday, July 29, the Columbia Union Conference will convene a special
constituency meeting to consider a request from the union executive committee to approve ministerial ordination without regard to gender.
Who Should Attend
The meeting is only open to the 325 delegates appointed by the eight conferences that comprise the Columbia Union Conference territory.
The meeting will begin with prayer and praise. Following the call to order, delegates will hear presentations from General Conference, North American Division and Columbia Union Conference Executive Committee representatives. After discussing the recommendation, they will be asked to vote their convictions about how the union should proceed using a secret ballot.
During the Meeting
