Ephesus Youth Minister to New Orleans Peers

By Bryant Taylor, DMin

A group of 12 youth and leaders from the Ephesus church in Columbus, Ohio, traveled last week to witness to their New Orleans peers. On a mission to conduct a youth evangelist meeting for the still recovering young residents, the devoted Ephesus youth also got the opportunity to interact, encourage, and learn from the adolescent survivors of Hurricane Katrina. As many 50 kids and their parents attended each evening.

In addition to fulfilling their spiritual hunger, the group also presented four families with $5,000 each to be used toward renovating their badly damaged homes. The monetary gift was made possible through funds raised by youth and Pathfinders of the North American Division.
