Dave Weigley, president of the Columbia Union, will offer the opening prayer for the U.S. Senate next Tuesday, March 4.

Although Barry Black, a Seventh-day Adventist minister, has served as Senate chaplain since June 2003, Weigley will be the first Adventist guest clergy to offer the prayer in recent years.

The session start time will be announced in the evening on March 3.  Check on Columbia Union Visitor’s Facebook page after 9 p.m. March 3 to see the exact time the event will be broadcast.
