Seven Pathfinder clubs from the Allegheny East (AEC), Chesapeake, Ohio, and Pennsylvania conferences gathered in Gettysburg, Pa., to participate in the annual Columbia Union Pathfinder Bible Achievement—also known as the Bible Bowl. Pennsylvania Conference was this year’s event host.
Participating clubs were AEC’s Hillside Thunderbirds, Chesapeake’s Baltimore White Marsh Cloudwalkers and New Hope Night Hawks, Ohio’s Columbus Ghanaian and Delaware Discoverers, and Pennsylvania’s Hamburg Blue Mountaineers and Reading Hampden Hawks.
Participating Pathfinders were asked 90 questions to test their knowledge of chapters 10 to 36 of 2 Chronicles. Scoring is based on the club with the highest score, and all clubs that come within 90 percent of that score are given a first place and eligible to compete in the division level. The division competition will be held at the Pioneer Memorial church in Berrien Springs, Mich., on Sabbath, April 18.
Of the seven clubs who participated in this year’s Bible Bowl, two clubs earned first place: the Delaware Discoverers and the Reading Hampden Hawks.
