Union ASI Convention to Offer Networking, Evangelism Training

Story by Taashi Rowe

Dan Jackson, North American Division president, will speak at the upcoming Columbia Union Adventist-laymen's Services & Industries (ASI) convention.

The Columbia Union chapter of the Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) will be meeting for its annual convention, March 11-13, at Trinity Temple in Newark, N.J. Daniel Jackson, president of the North American Division, will be the main speaker. Norman Reitz, ASI president, will also attend. The theme will be “Workmen and Women Worthy of Their Hire.”

Denise Hayden, chapter president, encourages all to attend. “It is always a wonderful event when those who are actively sharing Christ in the marketplace meet with those who have always longed to do ‘something,’” she says. She adds that there is sure to be inspiring testimonies.

The event will include a social and networking fair where ministries and businesses display their booths and give reports on what they have been doing to share Christ in their marketplace. Attendees will also receive training on how to use the New Beginnings DVD for evangelism and will receive a free DVD and handbook.
