Shenandoah Valley Academy Senior Killed in Motorcycle Accident

Story by Dan Jensen and Spencer Hannah

Kent Grimm

Faculty, staff and students at Shenandoah Valley Academy (SVA) were deeply saddened to learn that Kent Grimm, a 19-year-old senior at the school, was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on late last week.

Grimm, a resident of Broadway, Va., grew up in the New Market area. He attended Shenandoah Valley Adventist Elementary School and was preparing to be a four-year graduate of SVA in May.

SVA brought in grief counselors to assist the student body as they work through the tragic loss of their fellow student and friend.

Shenandoah Valley Academy is an accredited, four-year co-educational boarding high school owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. For more information visit sva-va.org.
