AdventSource is pleased to announce that Pastor Andre McCloud has been named President Elect of AdventSource, the official ministry resource center of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. Pastor McCloud will assume leadership following a transition period, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in ministry, business, and nonprofit leadership.
Brad Forbes, President of AdventSource, says, “I am excited to work along side Pastor McCloud during this time of transition in leadership at AdventSource.”
Pastor McCloud has served as a senior pastor, business manager for multiple Adventist schools, vice president of operations and finance for a multi-location healthcare corporation, and as CEO of nonprofit organizations. In these roles, he managed multi-million-dollar budgets, directed capital improvement projects, and implemented financial policies that improved transparency and efficiency. His leadership is recognized for being hands-on, data-informed, and mission-focused.
“AdventSource exists to equip and empower local church leaders,” says McCloud. “My own journey in ministry resource work began as a student, when I worked in the printing division of Seminars Unlimited. That early experience showed me how high-quality resources can strengthen leaders and grow ministries. I am honored to continue that mission through AdventSource.”
Pastor McCloud has served on the North American Division Executive Committee, the Southern Union Board of Education and Executive Committee, and the Southeastern Conference Executive Committee. He also brings executive nonprofit experience as the first CEO of the Hope Foundation of South Florida and as President of Umoja Ministries—both organizations devoted to faith-based service, youth engagement, and community development.
A lifelong Pathfinder Master Guide, Pastor McCloud has been actively involved in youth ministry for three decades. His service in Pathfinder and Adventurer Club Ministry has given him a deep appreciation for the leadership development and resource needs of clubs across North America.
Currently pursuing a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership, his research focuses on strategic leadership and financial optimization for mission-driven organizations—an emphasis that aligns closely with AdventSource’s values of innovation, stewardship, and impact.

Pastor McCloud will officially assume the presidency in 2027.
